Aga Khan Development Network is group of development agency founded in 1967 by Aga Khan. The Foundation aims to develop and promote creative solutions to problems that impede social development, primarily in Asia and East Africa. The network is operational in almost 25 countries.AKDN can be termed as a developmental Umbrella under which many implementing organizations, research organizations, institutions and agencies have been functioning.
