James Michael Lyngdoh

J.M Lyngdoh will be remembered for his efforts of strengthening democracy in India.he cracked the Civil services exam at the age of 22 .he served in Bihar Cadre.He had been served as Indian Civil Servant and remained Chief Election Commissioner from 2001 to 2004. .He got Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2001 for government services. He was appreciated for conducting election peacefully in two disturbed state of India.He has been known for his clean image.He quoted in a magazine," The life of a bureaucrat largely revolves around the conflict between right and wrong. Your conscience will tell you which way to go. You’ve got to have a point of view when the time comes. Nobody is going to tell you what to do."He was the one who lived up to his quote. During his professional life he had to face problem because of his honesty.But he stood against all odds and proved his metal.He is the right kind of inspiration for the creator of the new India or you can say the forthcoming leader of the world.We salute for his deeds as a bureaucrat.
